Topics include: theories and research on second language acquisition in children; current methods and trends; the development of appropriate instructional and assessment techniques; the integration of foreign languages into the elementary curriculum. Required for elementary or K12 certification in a world language. Prerequisite: TED340 and permission of instructor. Offered as needed.
