Teaching- learning processes in elementary and middle schools, with emphasis on such competencies as formulating purposes of the school; developing a philosophy of classroom management; identifying learning styles; developing course, unit and lesson plans; addressing curriculum standards; setting learning objectives; and developing assessment instruments. This course serves as a prerequisite for all other elementary education methods classes. Prerequisite: Level 2 admission. Co-requisite: TED300. Fall, Spring.
