The principles of teaching mathematics, including programs related to elementary and middle school grade placement. Emphasis is on the changing mathematics curriculum and how children learn. Various teaching strategies and instructional technology integration will be explored. Clinical experience will provide practical application of course work. Field experiences parallel the progress of the course. Prerequisite: TED340. Pre- or co-requisite: MATH 113. Spring.
