The Jazz Ensemble is dedicated to the contemporary jazz idiom, concentrating on performing modern jazz and blues compositions. The ensemble offers many opportunities for learning and developing the techniques of improvisation and jazz performance. Emphasis is on performance excellence and jazz proficiency.
