The student will learn the movement and voice styles, along with the political background, theatre structure, influential playwrights, and major plays throughout the ages. A basic knowledge of the Greek, Medieval, Renaissance, Comedy of Manners, Commedia dell arte', Pre-Modern and Modern Theatre.
