3 Hours. Explore stages of development of children in the arts; develop techniques and materials to use in basic art media; develop skills and leadership in music activities through use of an expanded repertoire of traditional rhythms, chants, folk songs, singing games, and action songs; explore play, improvisation and dramatization in creative dramatics. Prerequisite: Successful completion (grade of "C" or better) or concurrent enrollment in EDUC 3313, Clinical Teaching. Must have at least a 2.5 grade point average.
