The course consists of four modules: Instrumentation, Statistics pertaining to physics, electronics, and an introduction to machine shop methods. The course culminates in a final project that includes the design, implementation, analysis, and written and oral report of an experiment geared toward student interest. (2-0-4) Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: PHY 302 and a Supplemental Writing Skills course.
