Study of physiological responses to pathology of the endocrine, hepatic, immune, integumentary, gastrointestinal, renal, and reproductive systems, including mechanisms basic to inflammation, neoplasia, tissue repair and regeneration, and pain across the four major systems of PT practice. Systems screening, physical therapy practice patterns, and medical management, including pharmacotherapy is emphasized. Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: Admission to the physical therapy program.
