Prepares the advanced psychiatric mental health (MH) nurse practitioner student to care for groups and families. Explores etiologies and management of mental illnesses across the lifespan. Examines selected theories of psychopathology and scientific findings. Integrates analysis and application of selected clinical modalities with application in group and family therapy practicum.
