Includes an in-depth investigation, including analyses from the mathematical, historical, and philosophical perspectives, of several significant developments from various fields of mathematics. The specific developments considered will vary from semester to semester. Offered every year. Prerequisites: MTH 210, MTH 204, and at least four other 300- to 400-level mathematics courses (except MTH 312).
