Topics include body mechanisms associated with aging and common causes of death, autopsies, decomposition, modes of body disposition (and how they differ among cultures), and methods of body preservation (e.g., embalming and mummification). Not counted as an elective for biomedical sciences majors. Offered fall and spring/summer semesters upon demand.
