Includes the development of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism; the bureaucratic empire; gender; cultural trends; and the spread of classical civilization to the rest of East Asia. Prerequisite: None. HIST 111 or 112 recommended. Student must have at least junior standing to register for this course.
