This course covers functions, logarithms and exponentials, trigonometric functions and inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities and equations, vectors, complex numbers, polar coordinates, systems of linear and quadratic equations/inequalities and the binomial theorem. MTH 115 is an intensive pre-calculus preparatory course designed for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degree programs where MTH 125, Calculus I, is the initial course of their degree program.
