The second part of an algebra based physics course covering static electricity, Coulomb's law, potential, electrical field, Gauss's law, current electricity, Ohm's lawsimple circuits, Kirchoff's law, heating effect, Joule's law, magnetic effect, Ampere's lawinduction, magnetic properties of materials, electrolysis, geometrical optics, reflection at plane and spherical boundaries, thin lenses, lens maker's equation, optical instruments, speed of light, and light as a wave. At least ten experiments will be performed in the laboratory. Prerequisite: PHY 103 ( Offered in the Spring)
