- 3 hrs. Techniques and philosophies of systems analysis are addressed. Included are: traditional versus structured design methods, computer-based tools for systems analysis, workbenches, design and analysis of database systems, maintenance of existing information systems, human/machine interfaces, and security and control. System design, implementation, and methods of systems installation and operation are presented. A system development project is required. Prerequisite: MIS 315. (Offered Spring).
