- 2 hrs. This course is designed to both educate the student on the theories and mechanics of swimming, while offering an emphasis in training. This course will be an introduction to swimming as a lifetime fitness activity. History, theory, and basic stroke mechanics will be covered, on both lectures and skill instruction sessions.
