3 hrs. - Course designed to give the student experience beyond the introductory level in laboratory preparative techniques, in both organic and inorganic chemistry (approximately equal emphasis on each). Procedures will be taken from the original literature and will emphasize a variety of the more important types of preparative techniques. Prerequisite: CHE 302, CHE 302L; CHE 202, CHE 202L; or CHE 222; CHE 222 L ( Offered as Needed)
