3 hrs. Topics in the K-6 mathematics curriculum: counting, integers, the fundamental operations of arithmetic, ratio and proportion, elementary geometry, uncertainty and data interpretation. Problem solving, investigation, reasoning, communication, and the use of technology are integral parts of this course. This course is not open to Mathematics or Secondary Education Majors. Prerequisites: MTH 112 or MTH 107 ( Offered Fall, Spring, Summer)
