- 3 hrs. An introduction to numerical control as applied to drilling, milling, and turning operations. Mathematical methods for computer numerical control are presented. Includes cutter center line programming, tool offsets, cutter diameter compensation TNR compensation, and tool length compensation. Experience is provided in operation of an automated manufacturing machine. Prerequisite: Senior standing.
