Topics include: hydraulic system analysis using the energy equation; design configurations for controlling flow and pressure; operating characteristics of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, accumulators, and accessories; design and analysis of hydraulic systems for some typical applications. Prerequisites: MET 304 Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, MET 306 Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. (Offered upon sufficient demand)
