3 hrs. Discussions of all practices, such as chemical, cultural, physical, genetic or biological, which bring about the most effective control of pests. Methods which bring about least ecological disruptions will be stressed. Economic injury level and economic thresholds of several southern pests will be mentioned. Prerequisite: BIO 322 and BIO 322L.
