3 hrs. This course is an introduction to quantitative agricultural methods, tools and problems solving techniques. The course is designed to expand theoretical math concepts and make applications in the agribusiness and agricultural sector. Emphasis will be on data manipulation especially as it applies to graphical analysis of physical and financial functions. The United States Department of Agricultural (USDA) data and graphical set 'World Agricultural Trends and Indicator (WATI)" and US Census of Agriculture databases will be utilized.
