Designed to help counselors to develop an understanding of the issues involved in helping relationships dealing with persons having educational, vocational, interpersonal and intrapersonal problems. Techniques and abilities to apply basic counseling skills will be stressed. The aim of the course is to develop an advanced understanding of major counseling theories. Elective for juniors and seniors. Prerequisites: PSYC 0101, PSYC 0201, and PSYC 0322.
