Designed to familiarize students with the major theories of career choice, to enable them to learn a self-assessment process in relation to career opportunities, and to develop flexible strategies for achieving and managing a satisfactory career. The course will also include a discussion of various problems associated with different career opportunities such as technological and social change, value conflicts, dual-career couples and adult developmental needs. Prerequisite: PSYC 0101.
