Course concerns are the adolescent period of life. Lectures cover the various aspects of development: physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and sexual. Several lectures involve the interpersonal aspects of the life of adolescents, including family, peer, and school relationships, vocational choice, and the self-concept. Also covered are various psychological theories of adolescent development as based on available research data. Prerequisite: PSYC 0101.
