Provides the student enrolled in the Sports/Medicine Concentration with an opportunity to do in service work with public and private agencies/institutions in the community. The students will work under the supervision of the agency/institution director and will be supervised by a faculty member from the MSSLS Department. Students will be expected to assist in the development as well as conduct of Sports Medicine programs offered. Students are expected to fulfill a minimum of 280 clock hours. Individual conferences and group seminars are held in addition to the 280 clock hours. Prerequisites: Advanced Standing and completion of courses in the Sports Medicine Concentration with a 2.5 minimum QPA, and current First Aid certificate.
