Description:
This course provides the student with the knowledge and methodology of selected activities appropriate for the elementary school child. The course will include locomotor, non-locomotor, manipulative, body management and specific sports skills as taught through games of low organization, lead-up activities to games of higher organization and rhythmics. Consideration will be given to analysis of performance organization and progression. The course will consist of two hours of lecture and four hours of laboratory. Prerequisites: MOVP 0105 and MOVP 0106.
