Directed research in environmental science with the student conducting a research project under the supervision of an instructor. Research projects should involve the investigation of an environmental problem or issue. The results of the study should be reported in a formal research paper and presented in an oral presentation to the department. The Independent Research courses can be applied toward the Environmental Science major at the discretion of the instructor and Program Coordinator. Prerequisite: Permission of Instructor.
