critical theoretical examination of various types of juvenile offenders. This examination will be based largely upon the analysis of qualitative research studies that have been done with juveniles. Special attention is given to the case study method and to understanding the juvenile offenders as embedded within and influenced by numerous social structures (e.g., gender, race, family, school, economic) . Prerequisite: CRJU 0101, CRJU 0202, and Junior standing.
