Students will write columns and editorials suitable for publication in a local newspaper. As opinion writers, they will research political, economic, and social issues, develop editorial stances as individuals and as an editorial board, and then produce a series of articles that reflect either their opinions or those of the board. Prerequisite: ENGL 0275 or COMM 0275.
