Combines theory, research, and practical experience in order to gain an understanding of the role of mass communication in the electoral process. The course is intended to increase awareness of the problems and responsibilities involved in political and campaign communication, and to provide opportunities to apply political, organizational and communication skills. May be offered in conjunction with the Political Science Department. Prerequisites: COMM 0101 and junior or senior standing.
