This course will allow the student to develop compositions and ideas in painting which digress from realistic depiction of subject matter. Analytical abstraction and non-objective content will allow for degrees of abstraction in order to develop, emphasize and reveal qualities of personal points of view as well as personal painting styles. Prerequisite: ART 0202. ART 57
