One unit. The emphasis of this class is on design theory and conceptualization through use of design exercises. Advanced work will be individually oriented to develop graphic and analytic skills used in design with special attention to portfolio development. The class will be a studio/seminar style course where students present their research, analysis, and designs to the class on an ongoing basis for discussion and critique. Open to seniors only, with permission of the department. Offered as required.
