1.5 units. The nursing process is used to promote and restore the health of the childbearing family. Students examine the biopsychological and socio-cultural stressors that infl uence the health states of families throughout the prenatal, intra-partum, post-partum, and newborn periods. Clinical components in prenatal, intra-partum, post-partum and Neonatal Intensive Care are included. Offered spring semester.
