One unit. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly. A study of the morphology, taxonomy, and phylogeny of pathogenic fungi and the pathology of mycological diseases in humans and animals. The isolation, identifi cation, and study of fungi for purposes of classifi cation, physiology, ecology, and genetics. Prerequisite: MI 200. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years.
