The basic techniques of descriptive and sampling statistics including regression, normal and t-distributions, hypothesis testing, estimation, including regression, normal and t-distributions, hypothesis testing, estimation, F-distributions, and analysis of variance. Applications to the natural and social sciences. Credit will not be given for both MA 108 and 109. Prerequisite: MA 099 or equivalency test. Offered fall and spring semesters.
