One unit. If you don't understand the connection between international politics and economics, you don't know how the world works. This course presents several major theoretical perspectives, and examines such issues as trade, fi nance, and multinational corporations. Students analyze the interaction between the state and the market, and examine major global economic problems, such as oil, poverty, and the environment. Offered spring semester of odd-numbered years.
