An introduction to generalist social work practice with an emphasis on working with individuals across the life cycle that presents the ecological model, the strengths-based, problem-solving process, intergenerational, and cultural considerations for working with individuals. This course includes a minimum of two (2) hours a week practicing fundamental interpersonal skills required for effective social work practice. Prerequisites: SOWK 250, majors only and junior standing. Co-requisites: SOWK 315, SOWK 320 and SOWK 330.
