Focus on an analysis of cognitive behavior, such as attention memory, thinking, problem solving and metacognition and theories of learning. Instructional strategies in the use of cognitive behaviors to enhance learning will be discussed. The effects of psychological variables on learning will also be examined. Practical applications for educators, psychologists, developmentalists, and human service workers. Prerequisite: PSYC 212 or PSYC 216
