Principles of production, marketing, financial and human resource management and their application to the operation and management of firms serving agriculture. This course is intended to increase students' ability to apply basic economic concepts to decision making in the agri-business firm. Problem solving involving quantitative and conceptual analyses of production and investment decisions, pricing strategies, technological change, and the management of risk. Prerequisites: AGEC 344 Financial Management in Agriculture I; ECON 310 Microeconomics; STAT 210 Elementary Statistics; AGEC 447 Agricultural Marketing
