S Asurvey of educational materials and activities appropriate for young children. Students explore several components of effective curriculum development (e.g., objectives, methods of activity presentation, teaching strategies) and learn to integrate them to construct curricula for a range of content and skill areas. By focusing on functional components of a curriculum, students learn to construct, critically evaluate, and modify curricula for typically and atypically developing children. (Formerly HDFL 444.) Prerequisite: ABSC/HDFL 100/101, ABSC/HDFL 140, or ABSC/HDFL 304. LEC
