S This course provides an overview of professional, social, legal, and economic issues associated with the administration of early childhood services and programs. Emphasis is placed on theoretical principles, empirical research, and professional responsibilities inherent in the provision of quality service, including needs assessment, organizational skills, delivery systems, human resource management, communication skills, grant writing, legal and ethical considerations, and advocacy.
