S Aone or two-semester research practicum providing opportunities for supervised, hands-on research training outside of the existing specialty areas or their options. This practicum must be arranged with the prior approval of a faculty adviser and the department's Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. Students should see an adviser early in their junior year about the practicum and its prerequisites and requirements. Prerequisite: Open only to students in the University Honors Program and instructor permission. FLD
