S The purpose of this course is to encourage students to think sociologically about social issues by working as volunteer interns for non-profit community or campus organizations. Enrollment must be approved by the departmental Undergraduate Studies Committee. See the department's Director of Undergraduate Studies for guidelines. Prerequisite: 21 credits in sociology with a 3.0 GPA and permission of the instructor. FLD
