U Aspecial course for candidates for advanced degrees designed to aid them in obtaining a reading knowledge of Spanish. Intensive study of the fundamentals of grammar, proceeding to the reading of material of medium difficulty. Open to graduate students and to seniors who are applying for entrance to a graduate school. The course does not satisfy any part of the undergraduate language requirement.
