U Three hours of class per week: one hour lecture plus two hours of language practice. Designed to enable students who have had up to 2 years of recent high school Spanish or who speak another Romance language to reach the same level of proficiency as those completing SPAN 104. See SPAN 104 for course description. Active preparation and participation required in language practice classes, which are conducted in Spanish.
