One hour of academic credit is given upon the awarding of the private pilot's license by the Federal Aviation Administration. Required documentation includes a letter from the F.A.A. designated examiner giving the check ride and a copy of the private license. The Department of Aerospace Engineering provides no ground or flight instruction. Prerequisite: Aerospace Engineering students only, with consent of instructor. IND
