The focus of this class is two fold: students will understand the 12 Core Functions of Chemical Dependency Treatment as defined by the Kansas Association of Addictions Professionals, and will learn how to apply this knowledge to practice through hands-on assignments in the classroom. Students will learn how to screen, assess, design a treatment plan, design an aftercare (discharge) plan, as well as basic how to's of client records management. LEC
