A preservice teaching experience for ACT students in grades 6-8. The student teaching I and II provide over 300 clock hours and 150 hours of direct instruction. The student must request a placement from the Director of Field Experiences the semester before student teaching. Seminars are included. Prerequisite: Admission to the Education Department. Students majoring in art and foreign language for K-12 certification enroll in EDUC 463 and 464. Offered each semester.
