This course provides an introduction to the world of musical theater through the study of traditional musical theatrical forms. Students learn the acting concepts for transitions from spoken word to singing and then to dance. This class culminates in a final presentation that demonstrates a student's proficiency in multiple musical theater genres. Alternate years. Prerequisite: THR 150, THR 181 and THR 281.
